MATCH FORMAT:

  • Teams will consist of 3 starting players + 1 (optional) substitute player.
  • Each round will last 60 seconds.
  • Rounds will start with a blind breakout. All players must be entirely behind their breakout barrier and remain facing away from the field until round start.
  • Points are earned through player eliminations and physical objectives in the play area.
  • Rounds will end when one team is completely eliminated, or the game clock expires. Objectives cannot be scored after a team is eliminated.
  • Matches consist of 3 sets (6 rounds, 2 rounds per set) starting with 3v3. After each round, teams will switch sides until match completion.
  • At the end of each round, teams will switch sides and proceed to the opposite breakout after a headcount of surviving players and objectives are totaled. A 30 second timer will count down to the next round immediately after point totals.

FADE CYCLE:

  • After each set (2 rounds) both teams must FADE (remove) a player from their lineup. FADES will be conducted blind in the breakouts.
  • During each FADE cycle, teams will select one (1) player to remove from their lineup while staged in the breakout. The selected players from each team will be considered out of play and must exit the field immediately before round start. During FADE cycles the count down timer will be increased to forty (40) seconds.
  • Matches continue the FADE cycle into a 2v2 set, and a final 1v1 set.
  • Point values double after each FADE cycle (ex: 1x > 2x > 4x).
  • Teams may substitute ONE (1) PLAYER PER MATCH during a FADE cycle. Subs will be announced and the FADE cycle will no longer be considered blind. Players chosen to FADE in the first set (3v3) are eligible to sub for the third set (1v1).
  • If a match is tied after 6 rounds, 1v1 rounds will continue in overtime until a winner is determined. Substitutions are prohibited entering overtime. Participating players may reload once before the first overtime round.
